How to use this template: First, install the free program NoteTab Light (www.notetab.com). If you're running Windows XP, simply copy our custom "HTML-e.clb" from your Agape-Biblia\plugins\development folder to C:\Program Files\NoteTab Light\Libraries. If you're running Windows Vista, you must run NoteTab Light as administrator, open "HTML-e.clb" and save it in C:\Program Files\NoteTab Light\Libraries. You can rename "HTML-e.clb" to replace the file by the name "HTML.clb" if you like. Then in NoteTab Light, open Lesson-template-S.htm (this file) and press Ctrl+Shift+S to save it with the new name of the lesson it will become. (You can use the empty file "Lesson-template-S-e.htm" instead of this file, so you don't have to delete these instructions and all the HTML examples each time you rename the file.) Then highlight the "000" in the TITLE tag at the top, press Ctrl+R and enter the new lesson number to Rename the four occurences of the lesson number. Also change "[name of lesson]" in two places.
Next, simply begin inserting your lesson material, either by the copy-and-paste method if you have already written your lesson in a word-processor program, or you can write the lesson here in this HTML document. Use our custom NoteTab Clip-lib scripts to easily create the HTML code for interactions and quiz questions. The "Instant Interactions" can be anywhere in your lesson. Every quiz question, though, must be inside the quiz FORM, and must have a unique number (hopefully starting with 1 and ascending!) so that your browser will associate the answers with the appropriate question. In NoteTab Light, press F4 and select "HTML-e" from the "Libraries" bar on the bottom of the screen (if you have configured NoteTab under "View" to show the "Libraries" bar), or in the upper-left part of the frame that appears, in order to launch these customized Clip-lib scripts in your lesson.
[One screenful (no more!) of introductory material here]
It is VERY important to use a WIDE VARIETY of "Instant Interactions" and "Quiz Questions" in each lesson!! Use them often: enliven every "screenful" of lesson content with an interaction or a question. Otherwise students become bored and you lose them!

Well, here we are in the "quiz" section of the lesson! Now, open this file - "Lesson-template-S.htm" - in NotePad Light and take a look at the HTML source code. Pretty wierd, isn't it?! I remember how strange HTML seemed to me the first time I saw it, about 10 years ago. But never fear: our custom NoteTab Clip-lib scripts will help you get accustomed to it quickly and easily. See
