The Mississippi law had been suspended because some gay rights groups had challenged if in a district court, claiming it was unconstitutional for violating the Establishment Clause and the Equal Protection Clause. But the 5th U.S. Circuit Court threw out the case because the gay rights groups had no legal standing: they were not directly harmed by the new law. This ruling sets a legal precedent that Christians can continue to act according to their consciences as long as LGBTQ folks can obtain their desired services such as bathroom and shower use, weddings, wedding cakes, floral arrangements, etc. by other means or sources.
