In his article "We Don't Need Zombie Obamacare," Robert Moffit writes - "Congressional liberals are strongly motivated by a government-centric vision on health policy. They want either a.) a system that is heavily regulated—actually micromanaged—by Washington (the complex and dysfunctional Obamacare status quo), or b.) an administratively streamlined, taxpayer-financed and budgeted program run directly (and ruthlessly) by federal officials: 'a single-payer' system. Translation: a government monopoly over health care. Check out the VA."

In my humble opinion, the latter will be the eventual outcome. The GOPs simply aren't able to pull off a "repeal-and-replace" by themelves. They will have to accept some input from the Dems, whose long-term strategy has always been universal Medicaid-style health insurance. Then we will have "managed health care" - meaning you won't be allowed to take care of your own health, the government knows you better than you do. Think Charlie Gard.

The above article goes on to explain that the Left is aiming for a "robust public option" (government-run health insurance) that would compete against private insurance companies and drive them out of business, as is already happening: nearly half of the 395 insurance companies that offered Obamacare have dropped those plans because they were losing too much money. This process will continue until they all give up.

Once the Dems gave away the farm, there's no way the GOPs can take it back again. The vast majority of people are hooked on freebies: free food, free sex, free housing, and now free medical care. But guess what, folks? There's no such thing as a free lunch: you pay with your soul!
