In her article "Majority of Quebec caregivers approve killing dementia patients, even without consent," Lianne Laurence writes - "A majority {72%) of caregivers in Quebec support euthanasia for patients with Alzheimer’s or dementia, even if the patients had not previously signed an advance directive. "According to a recent survey, ninety-one percent of 302 caregivers surveyed said they favored euthanasia for people with dementia who were in the terminal stage of the illness, showed signs of distress, and had signed an advance directive to be euthanized, reported the Montreal Gazette." So if you live in Quebec, you're old and likely to get dementia, you'd better move away from there! Having signed a "living will" (translate: death directive) virtually insures they'll kill you, but even if you haven't signed a death directive, the probability is that they'll kill you off anyway. This drive toward death is typical of modern post-Christian secularism. Holland and Belgium have laws that permit killing the sick, demented, elderly or just if you have alot of pain. Russia kills people if they cost too much to keep alive. This indicates a belief that the value of life is merely pleasure or economic, not an intrinsic spiritual value.
