In her article "Trump's historic speech to March for Life: Abortion is 'wrong, it has to change'," Lianne Lawrence writes - "In the first-ever live streamed address of a sitting president to the March for Life, Republican President Donald Trump vowed his administration will work to uphold the sanctity of life. "'Under my administration, we will always defend the very first right in the Declaration of Independence, and that is the right to life,' the president told cheering crowds of hundreds of thousands that packed Washington Mall Friday." Watch the video! As the Declaration states - which one of my ancestors signed - "All men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. Among these are the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." But it seems we've turned the latter into the pursuit of pleasure and have traded that for the right to life and liberty. Life is a right endowed by our Creator and to be protected especially for the unborn and disabled. Liberty rightly understood is the ability to seek and to do what is good and right - not simply whatever you want: that's licentiousness.
