In her article "Ontario Christian doctors appeal ruling forcing them to participate in abortion, euthanasia," Lianne Laurence writes - "A group of Ontario Christian doctors is appealing a court decision that overruled their Charter right to conscientiously object to participating in abortion and euthanasia. In a ruling that has far-reaching implications for freedom of religion, Ontario Superior Court decided in January that allowing the province's doctors to exercise their Charter conscience rights would 'establish a real risk of a deprivation of equitable access to health care.' "The doctors launched a constitutional challenge last year to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) policy requiring them to give patients an effective referral — that is, to an accessible colleague willing to do the act — for any medical 'service' they morally object to, notably abortion and euthanasia. The policy stipulates doctors found in violation of the policy will face severe penalties." So here we are again, folks: just like the nurses in the U.S. who were forced to participate in abortions or lose their jobs, now doctors in Canada are being pressured to do the same. The Hippocratic Oath is to "do no harm" - but how does that square with deliberately and forcefully taking the life of an unborn baby or an elderly patient whose care has become very expensive for the socialist medical system? We need to return to Christian charity hospitals before we kill off the whole next generation of productive people!
